A large and beautiful circular room, full of funny little noises. A number of curious silver instruments stand on spindlelegged tables, whirring and emitting little puffs of smoke. The walls are covered with portraits of old headmasters and headmistresses. Come here if you have a problem or just to bring headmistress some goodies.

The clearing and home to Hagrid's half-brother, Grawp. Once a place full of tree's, now they've all been uprooted by the giant. Watch out for him though, no doubt he's somewhere near by. He doesn't carry much of a conversation either. And if you have a long name, give him something simple.

To the west of Hogwarts Castle is a large, dark forest. The forest is thick with trees but there are paths, brooks, and some clearings. The forbidden forest is home to a wide and strange assortment of creatures.

The Quidditch pitch is where Quidditch games are held, and where teams practice. There are three golden hoops, about 50 feet high, at each end used for scoring, and stands surrounding it, providing seating for spectators. It houses the changing rooms for the four House teams and the Quiddich team Captain's office.
